🏁 Meet Our Local Heroes! 🏁

 

The Parksville Car & Bike Show is proud to welcome two incredible racing teams whose passion, perseverance, and achievements have put Vancouver Island on the motorsports map.

 

🏆 Eh Team Racing

Hailing from the Comox Valley and Parksville area, Eh Team Racing took on one of the toughest off-road endurance races in the world—the NORRA Mexican 1000.

 

With just four months to transform a 1983 Toyota Hilux into a race-ready machine, they tackled nearly 1,400 miles of unforgiving Baja desert over six grueling days. Along the way they overcame mechanical challenges, a rollover, and fierce competition from experienced teams across North America. Their determination never wavered, and they crossed the finish line with an incredible podium finish.

 

Congratulations to Fred “Grizz” Shelly, Megan, James, Darcy, Mikhaila, Adyn, and Chyanne for showing what teamwork, resilience, and determination can accomplish.

 

🏁 Bill Okell Racing

 

Joining them is one of Vancouver Island’s true road racing legends, Bill Okell. A Hall of Fame driver with more than five decades of racing experience, Bill has earned countless race victories, track records, and championships while competing at some of North America’s most iconic road courses.

 

Bill continues to inspire racers of all ages through his dedication to the sport and proudly represents our local racing community wherever he competes.
